Greeley City Council will return to in-person council meetings starting 6 p.m. June 16 at City Center South, 1001 11th Ave.
All regular council meetings will take place, in person, in council chambers on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Council worksessions will continue remotely via Zoom meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. All Greeley City Council meetings and worksessions begin at 6 p.m.
An exception, the June 23 worksession will take place in-person in Council Chambers. Prior to that work session, there will be a special meeting for the final reading of an open container ordinance. After that hearing, the June 23 work session will start at 6 p.m.
During in-person council meetings, all members of the public and city staff should adhere to 6-feet social distancing guidelines. Seating will accommodate those guidelines, and city staff will make overflow and lobby spaces available in the case of large numbers of attendees. These safety measures will limit audience seating in Council Chambers to 25 people at a time on a first come, first served basis.
City officials ask the public to wear cloth masks when entering City Center South and council chambers. City staff will make hand sanitizer and wipes available.

The public may submit written comments in advance of the meeting for the citizen input section, generally addressing topics not already scheduled for discussion at that meeting, or for scheduled public hearing items by emailing cityclerks@greeleygov.com or by U.S. mail to the City Clerk’s Office, 1000 10th Street, Greeley, CO 80631. Those comments and questions will also be read into the record during the meeting. The in person meetings will not offer remote participation options at this time.
