In response to the continuing spread of COVID-19 and the governor’s Stay at Home Order, Greeley City Council regular meetings and worksessions will move to online live streaming. There will not be a physical location for the public to watch or participate in meetings.

The city of Greeley will continue to hold regularly scheduled City Council meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m. The next regularly scheduled council meeting will take place Tuesday, April 7. Until further notice, the public is encouraged to watch remotely on the city’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/CityofGreeley. Residents can submit their input, comments, and questions via email to cityclerks@greeleygov.com any time up to and throughout the meeting.

The clerk on duty will regularly check for public input and questions throughout the citizen input portion of the meeting, and during any scheduled public hearings, and read the comments into the record in real time. Residents are also welcome to submit citizen input or public comments and questions in writing by sending those to the City Clerk’s Office, 1000 10th Street, Greeley, CO, 80631. Mailed comments must be received no later than the day of the scheduled city council meeting. Those comments and questions will also be read into the record during the meeting.

Greeley City Council worksessions will continue on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m. Again, the public is encouraged to watch remotely on the city’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/CityofGreeley. Public input will not be taken during these meetings.

In addition, Greeley City Council will participate in weekly briefing each Friday at 4 p.m. beginning Friday, April 3. During the briefings, the council will hear about current city operations from executive leadership and about the evolving COVID-19 situation. In compliance with open meeting laws, any meeting of more than two elected officials is considered a public meeting. Friday’s briefing is therefore considered a public meeting and open to all residents via the city’s YouTube channel. No public input or comment will be taken at these briefings as they are intended to be informational only for the council, press, and the general public.

Scheduled council meeting and worksession agendas and minutes can be found on the council’s webpage at www.greeleygov.com/government/council. Links to the city’s YouTube channel can also be found here.
