2017 Free History Brown Bag Series: Preserving Your Photographic Memories

The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission continues the free 2017 History Brown Bag Series held on the 4th Thursday of each month from January through October, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. On Thursday, August 24th, Heather Peterson, National and State Register Coordinator at History Colorado, will present, “Preserving Your Photographic Memories.” During Heather’s 14 years at History Colorado, she has helped develop photo standards and archived photos. During this informal presentation, Heather will discuss best practice standards for labeling and storing photos for years to come. Participants are encouraged to bring a photo album or a few loose photos for discussion. The presentation will be held in the Community Room of the Greeley History Museum, 714 8th Street. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch. It is free and open to the public, and no reservations are required.
