A Cacophony of Creatives Meet Up: June 20

A special information and networking event for Creatives sponsored by the Greeley Creative District will be held on June 20 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Atlas Theater at 709 16th Street. It is free to attend.

The featured speaker is Dave Ratner, from the Creative Law Network, who will speak about intellectual property, copyright and licensing of works for creatives.  Artists, entertainers, photographers, writers, videographers – anyone who produces creative works will benefit from his presentation.

Following a career in the music and entertainment management businesses, Mr. Ratner now specializes in entertainment, intellectual property, and business law advising traditional artists, creative individuals, and entities in a variety of industries. He has been one of 5280’s Top Lawyers for Entertainment Law since the magazine began publishing its list and he has been named both Client’s Best and Barrister’s Best Entertainment Lawyer by Law Week Colorado, among many other recognitions.

Attendees will also have a chance to hear of upcoming activities, suggest ideas, enjoy refreshments, and network with other Creatives.

“Our Creative Community offers such dynamic enrichment of Greeley’s quality of life,” notes Becky Safarik, Greeley Creative District President.  “We host these informal sessions for Creatives and the community to share timely information to support their work, relay upcoming activities and events, and to expand and engage in this special part of our city.
