City of Greeley Invites Applications for Federal Funding Opportunities

The city is now accepting applications for projects that can help the community recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. The city will select approximately $2 million in outside projects to be funded by the American Rescue Plan Act.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to receive funding for transformational projects that align with city priorities,” said City Manager Raymond Lee. “I encourage those whose projects fit the criteria to apply.”

To be considered, applications should fall into at least one of four areas identified by the city for investing the American Rescue Plan Act funds:

  • Building Community Resilience

  • Enhancing Mobility

  • Creating Community, Quality of Life, and Destinations

  • Activating Economic Corridors

Apply online at www.greeleygov.com/arpa by May 19. More information about the process is also available on the site, including a survey to help the city decide which priorities to invest in. The survey will remain open until April 28.

For Help with the Application Process

Applicants can join a virtual meeting from 10-11 a.m. April 6 to get technical help on the application process. The session will provide a detailed walkthrough of the process. Information to join the April 6 meeting is available at www.greeleygov.com/arpa.
