Colorado Dance Collective Returns to the UCCC Stage with Hot Chocolate Performance, Rescheduled for Jan. 14

Hot-Chocolate

Community dance non-profit, the Colorado Dance Collective, invites the community to snuggle up and enjoy their annual Hot Chocolate performance at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 14 at Greeley’s Union Colony Civic Center at 651 10th Ave.

The performance showcases the studio’s diverse group of adult dancers through ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, and swing pieces, includes a silent auction, and, as the title suggests, hot chocolate for all.

Originally planned as two separate performances in December, the show was rescheduled for Jan. 14 and combined into one performance. All ticketholders were reissued tickets for the new performance date and can contact the box office at 970-356-5000 with additional questions.

Reimagining Dance in 2020
Due to the entertainment shutdown, the Colorado Dance Collective reimagined the delivery of their annual Hot Chocolate showcase last year in 2020 by moving to an online platform and live streaming for remote audiences. The company returned to in-person performances in the spring of 2021with their “Emerge” showcase.

A Home for Community Dance for 13 Years
The Colorado Dance Collective offers adults dancers from across Northern Colorado an outlet to continue their passion for dance, while providing the public with professional, diverse performances that enhance the community. Started by a small group of dedicated dancers in 2009, the dance collective expanded to include five auditioned companies, each specializing in a different style of dance. All company dancers are chosen by audition only, but the general public can drop-in to classes for exercise, fun, and to learn new techniques. Learn more at coloradodancecollective.com
