Community Conversation on Homelessness Video and Survey Now Available

City-Logo-for-News-Releases

February 16 and 17, City of Greeley officials hosted virtual and in-person community conversations on homelessness and housing alternatives in Greeley. A video recording of the in-person meeting and a survey to provide feedback are now available at greeleygov.com/homelessandhousingservices for anyone unable to attend.

The community conversation facilitators encourage residents to watch the video and then take a few minutes to provide their thoughts via the survey, which includes questions and discussion points from the meetings.

Staff will combine the survey feedback with comments from the virtual and in-person meetings for the overall assessment of homelessness and housing needs in Greeley. The deadline for completing the survey is Saturday, March 12.

City officials plan on two more series of Community Conversations in 2022. The next conversations are tentatively scheduled for April 13 and 14, for virtual and in person meetings.

This next round of conversations will focus on homeless themes and topics from the February meetings and online survey, demand drivers locally and regionally, and best practices across Colorado and nationally.
