Councilmember Fitzsimmons Ward III Coffee: March 10
Residents of Greeley living in Ward III are invited to visit with Greeley City Councilmember Michael Fitzsimmons the second Saturday of every month from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Continuum Coffee. Continuum Coffee is a southwest Greeley coffee shop located at 6560 W. 29th Street within St. Michael’s Square.
The next meeting will be on March 10. The special guest for this meeting is Brad Mueller, the Director of Community Development Department for the City of Greeley. Brad will provide an update on current development activity.
Michael Fitzsimmons represents Ward III on the Greeley City Council. Ward III includes southwest and south-central areas of Greeley.
Coffee with Councilmember Fitzsimmons is an opportunity for residents to meet with him about any city government issue or project. It is an opportunity to provide an overview of projects, answer questions about items of interest wherever possible, and for the Councilmember to hear input from residents in an informal setting.
Fitzsimmons notes, “Everyone is so busy with work, their families and life in general, that I think setting a regular meeting time and location within Ward III will help me stay connected to the residents I represent. All Greeley residents are welcome; however, I am most interested in questions and opinions from my Ward III constituents.”
In addition to Coffee with Councilmember Fitzsimmons, residents are also invited to provide public input at City Council meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 p.m. The City Council Chambers is located in the School District Six Administration Building at 1025 9th Avenue. Speakers are limited to 3 minutes each. Visit greeleygov.com/city-council page for details.
