Greeley Recreation Center Reopens Climbing Wall Feb. 28

After nearly two years, the Greeley Recreation Center will reopen its final facility amenity, the indoor climbing wall.

Recreation staff are busy hiring new climbing staff and will have the climbing wall feature open during normal business hours beginning Monday, Feb. 28.

“The Greeley Recreation Center is proud to offer our members and guests the only public climbing wall in Greeley,” said Katie Lundberg, Greeley Recreation Center Supervisor. “We are thrilled to have the climbing wall back open and provide climbers bouldering and top rope opportunities. It’s been a long time coming.”

Climbing Hours

Bouldering offered
Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Top rope with climbing staff
Monday and Wednesday 4-8 p.m. and the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

With this final feature opening, Greeley Recreation members and guests can not only enjoy climbing but racquetball, open gym opportunities, the weight room, pool with diving well, and free fitness classes.
