Joshua Goss Solo Art Exhibit Opens at Tointon Gallery

Sculpture artist Joshua Goss and his exhibit entitled “UPlift! 3.0” will be in a solo show at the City of Greeley’s Tointon Gallery for Visual Arts, 651 10th Street. The exhibit opens Friday, August 31 and continues until Saturday, October 13.

“Uplift 3.0” features metalwork sculptures encompassing the concepts of geology, metal forming and the creation of the Rocky Mountains. The sculptures made from pressure and heat-treated steel and iron create pieces inspired by Earth’s natural development.

Joshua Goss studied Geology at Acadia University in Maine and Fine Art at Southern Illinois University before becoming a Greeley resident in 2013. His work as a blacksmith and artist has highlighted him internationally and featured in many publications; including American Craft Magazine and Colorado ArtBeat.
