Juniors Golf Free for Spring Break

Golf Ball HH and Bl logos

Staff at Highland Hills and Boomerang Links Golf Courses are preparing for the upcoming golf season. As part of their plans, juniors 17 and under play free after 1 p.m., when accompanied by an adult during Spring Break, March 10 through the 18. Adults pay $10 per nine holes when walking with juniors. If they decide to ride, regular rates apply. Highland Hills and Boomerang Links Golf Courses are the only ones offering this program in Northern Colorado in an effort to get juniors to exercise and experience the game of golf while spending time with family.

Head Golf Professionals Chris Colling, Highland Hills, and Marc Silva, Boomerang Links, will be returning and both pros are looking forward to the opportunities ahead. The big focus at both courses this year will be promoting the junior golf programs.

In preparation for this year, Chris recently returned from a U.S. Kids Golf retreat where he learned new and exciting methods for teaching juniors about the game of golf, running junior camps and tournaments.  Chris is now a U.S. Kids Certified Coach as well as a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance.

Year round, the city’s golf courses offer free golf for juniors every Sunday after 1 p.m. Adults pay $10 per nine holes when walking with juniors.
