Kid Friendly Shakespeare at the UCCC on October 10


The Union Colony Civic Center, 701 10th Ave., presents a fun-for-the-whole-family show, “Seeds of Change ” on Wednesday, October 10, at 6:30 p.m.

Inspired by myth, fairy tale and Shakespeare’s “The Tempest,” “Seeds of Change” tells the story of a young girl who embarks on a journey of self-discovery. The play fosters environmental literacy through its tales and explores topics in environmental science, deforestation, ocean plastic and habitat loss through the use of wonder and empowerment.

“Seeds of Change” is geared for students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade, and uses Shakespearean language while encouraging audience participation.
