The City of Greeley Golf Courses are celebrating the golfing community by hosting their Second Annual “Greeley Golfers Appreciation Day Tournament.” The tournament will be held Saturday, July 21, at Boomerang Links Golf Course, 7309 West 4th Street.

The day starts at 9 a.m. with festivities on the driving range including chipping games, putting and a long-drive contest.

The golf tournament starts at noon with check-in starting at 10:30 a.m. Tournament style is 2-Person Scramble with a shotgun start. Prizes will be awarded to winners that include bragging rights. Lunch will be provided to those participating in the tournament and is included in the entry fee.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Greeley Junior Golf Association. Highland Hills Head Golf Professional Chris Colling has been increasing efforts to reach juniors in the community and get them interested in golf.

The cost of entry for the tournament is $75 for Green Fee Players, $65 for Pass/Punch Holders, and $50 for Membership Holders. Registration forms and entry fees are due by Friday, July 13, to reserve a spot and meal.
