Second Public Meeting Bittersweet Park Development: January 23

The City of Greeley will be holding the second public meeting for the development of landscape conversion alternatives for Bittersweet Park. Based on the public comments received during the first meeting held on January 10, the Bittersweet Park Advisory Committee is seeking further community assistance with the selection of preferred landscape conversion alternatives. The goals of the Bittersweet Park project includes irrigation and water conservation improvements, increasing plant diversity and wildlife habitat, and enhancing drought-tolerance and landscape resiliency.

This second meeting is Wednesday, January 23, 6 p.m., at the Greeley Police Department, Donahue Room, 2875 W 10th St.

The City encourages the public to attend public meetings, as they are a valuable resource to City planning and staff. It helps them in the planning, design, and maintenance of our community parks, trails, and open lands.  As information becomes available after each meeting, the public can stay informed by visiting the  website.
