The Queen’s Cartoonists Create a Concert for Everyone with Cartoons and Classical Music

350-cartoons

The Queen’s Cartoonists present a concert for everyone, playing the music of classic cartoons and contemporary animation at Greeley’s Union Colony Civic Center at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at 701 10th Ave.

The performances are synchronized to video projections of the original films while the band leads the audience through a world of multi-instrumental mayhem and comedy.

Making Classical Music Accessible to Modern Audiences

The concept for The Queen’s Cartoonists started with a question–is it possible to create jazz and classical music in the 21st century that appeals to everyone? By combining the nostalgia of golden-age cartoons and modern animation with classical sounds, The Queen’s Cartoonists create an accessible concert for today’s audiences.

Since their inception in 2015, The Queen’s Cartoonists’ have taken their unique sound to performing arts centers in more than 20 states, including the New York Philharmonic. The six members, all currently living in Queens, New York, are world-class professional musicians, featured in numerous major publications, including “The Wall Street Journal,” “The Chicago Tribune,” “Mashable,” and “NPR.”
