David Newton, a third generation Colorado native, captures the vastness of planets on canvas for this exhibit. His award winning paintings will be on display in the Tointon Gallery from March 21 – April 26.
On Friday, March 21 visitors have a chance to meet and talk with the painter at the artist reception from 5 – 7 pm.
A self-taught painter of 40 years, David has received national recognition for his renditions of space art. Newton has shown his work for years in Greeley, Estes Park, and Loveland, most recently at The Master’s Fine Art.
Catch David’s colorful artwork displayed as a slide show during the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra’s performance Gustav Holst’s The Planets, Friday, April 6 at 4pm.
