Greeley’s Water Conservation Program will hold showerhead exchanges this spring to help Greeley Water customers conserve water. In exchange for a new model, customers must bring old showerheads as well as their City of Greeley Water & Sewer Department bill.
There are many types of showerheads available, including handheld models. In addition, customers can also choose a showerhead in either white or chrome to match their current bathroom fixtures. By replacing an old showerhead with a new, WaterSense model, the average household not only saves nearly 2,900 gallons of water per year, but could also reduce its annual water and energy costs by over $70.
Greeley customers are encouraged to bring their old showerheads to the Water Conservation booth at the following events:
