Established in 1874, Linn Grove Cemetery is one of the oldest fully operating and still growing cemeteries in the state of Colorado. We invite you to visit the cemetery, tour our facilities, and learn about the services we provide.

Meticulous grounds maintenance standards are upheld; incorporating gardens, ponds, and stately trees. Traditional monument and marker selections, columbarium and above ground burials are available. Plus, cemetery planners had foresight for growth; the park has 65 acres with an abundant portion dedicated to future development. With a variety of planning options and acres of undeveloped land, Linn Grove Cemetery is prepared to serve you and your family for generations to come.

Upcoming Events

2025 Memorial Day Ceremony

For more than 100 years, the staff at Linn Grove Cemetery, on behalf of and in conjunction with Weld County military organizations, honored veterans past and present with a formal Memorial Day ceremony. The 2025 event begins at 9am on Monday, May 26.

The event traditionally includes patriotic music, dedications, tributes, honor guard ceremonies, a keynote speaker, benediction and a twenty-one-gun salute.   

Marking of the Flags Volunteer Opportunity

Linn Grove Cemetery staff invite the community to help place American flags on the site's more than 2,000 veteran graves in honor of Memorial Day. Volunteers can arrive any time between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, May 19 through Saturday, May 24.

Wreaths Across America

Wreaths across America logo

Wreaths Across America is a nationwide program in over 4000 cemeteries honoring Veterans in an outdoor ceremony by placing an evergreen wreath on Veterans’ graves to Remember, Honor and Teach. In Greeley, Wreaths Across America at Linn Grove Cemetery program also honors First Responders buried at the cemetery. This program seeks help from the local community to ensure this annual ceremony is successful. Please consider sponsoring an evergreen wreath this year at Linn Grove Cemetery.
