City Chat with Councilmember Suniga on August 24
At-large City Councilmember Stacy Suniga will hold a meeting with residents on Saturday, August 24. Join the Councilmember from 10:30 until noon at Gourmet Grub, 2118 35th Ave.
At Councilmember Suniga’s upcoming City Chat, community engagement specialist, Chris Garcia, will provide a background on the census, speak to its importance to our community, and share insight into local efforts. Garcia will also offer opportunities for local residents to get involved in the 2020 Census through the Greeley/Weld Complete Count Campaign (CCC), and share resources for residents to learn more and participate in local activities.
With more than $800 billion in federal funding at stake, full participation in the census is vital for our community and all those who live here. The Greeley/Weld CCC is community-led and works to support federal and state efforts for a complete and accurate count. Our goal is to count everyone once, only once, and in the right place.
