Online Applications

You must have a user account to use the online application. If you are a licensed contractor, please be sure to use the contractor login. If you haven't created an account yet, please follow our instructions Create Your Account or Create a Professional Login.

Note: If you are a homeowner completing work on a home that you own and occupy you can apply for the permit, if you are applying for a permit on a rental property, a license is required.

New Applications

  1. Select Apply / New Permit under Permits or Apply under ProjectsNew Application
  2. Log in either as a public user or a contractor. Don't have an account? Create Your AccountLogin Screen
  3. Agree to the terms and select Continue

  4. Select your permit or project type
    • Not all types are available online, if your type is not on the list you cannot apply for it online.
    • Once you select the permit/project type that you wish to create, more fields will appear
    • All fields with * are required

  5. Select the address
    • Permits and projects must be linked to a valid Greeley address.
    • If your address is not found please verify your format.
    • For best results, start with your address number and then select from the list that appears
    • If the address does not populate, verify that your address is correct and within the city limits of Greeley. Use our address lookup tool if you are having trouble.

  6. Different types request additional documentation to be submitted. Upload attachments by using the Select button to find your file and then the Upload button.

    Add a descriptive title in the Description box in the following format: Submittal #_Document Name_Date

    Acceptable file types:
    • PDF (Adobe)
    • DOC or DOCX (Word)
    • XLX or XLSX (Excel)
    • JPG or PNG (images)
  7. Select Next Step
  8. Enter contact information for the permit. Most of this information will be already completed based on your information
  9. Select Next Step
  10. Review your information and edit if needed

  11. Submit your application by selecting Next Step
  12. Your application will be reviewed and you will be notified when the permit is approved, or when additional information is required

Permit Fees

Plan check fees are due at the time of application for permits requiring review. All other fees are paid after the review is complete and before the permit will be issued.

NOTE: You will be notified of the approval of your permit by email. Log into your eTRAKiT account to pay the required fees.

Project Fees

Project Fees are due at the time of application. All applicable recording fees are due upon land use approval.

NOTE: Incorrect fees paid due to applying for the wrong project type/subtype will delay the review process; subsequent reviews will not be scheduled until the correct project fees are paid
