The City of Greeley recognizes that Bittersweet Park does not look like it used to.  Instead, the City is working hard to reshape the park to meet water conservation needs, decrease maintenance, and provide a natural area that reflects our state’s beauty and enhances wildlife while maintaining areas that our community enjoys using.

The City recently launched a new online portal to access agendas and minutes for all public meetings including boards and commissions, and city council work sessions and meetings. 

Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has a mission to plan and improve the central business of Downtown Greeley. Serving on the DDA Board is an excellent opportunity to hear about new projects and help shape strategic investments in the future of downtown.

Local grants, designations, scholarships, awards and much more.

The Rodarte Community Center engages youth in a diverse array of recreational and educational programming out-of-school time at no or reduced cost to participants.

Greeley's growth demands an expansion of transportation options within the city, region, and state. This includes streets, highways, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, public transit. With all those projects pushing ahead, it's an exciting time to be a part of Greeley's Citizen Transportation Advisory Board. 

Greeley Ranked 8th in the U.S. Most Dynamic Metropolitans and 1st in Rent.com Best Cities for Pets.

 Joining a board or commission is a great way to influence public policy and programming decisions that can affect the entire city. One of these groups is the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and the city will be accepting applications for seats on the board in January 2021.

Greeley students are successful in sports and in the classroom.

Greeley has been ranked #48 on WalletHub’s ‘2020 Fastest-Growing Cities in America’ list, ranked 6th in “Jobs and Economy” andtied for 1st in the “Highest Regional Growth Domestic Product” category.

A small group of Greeley’s on-duty firefighters gathered a couple weeks ago to lower the flag above Fire Station #2 and to say goodbye.

With these announcements we are appreciating the good work of our residents, showing support for their efforts, and encouraging everyone to share the word that Greeley is Great.

Greeley is one of 39 U.S. cities to be recognized by The League of American Bicyclists with a Bronze level Bicycle Friendly Community designation.
