What do model trains, art, live music, beer, rivers, trails, and successful students all have in common? Well, besides being things that Greeley can brag about, they are also the stories we’ll be telling during the 2017 Greeley Unexpected campaign.
This year and into the first part of 2018, Greeley Unexpected will be sharing stories about the city that highlight some of our best attributes. In the past we’ve called them bragging points because they really do allow Greeley residents and others who like the city to see and talk about what makes Greeley great.
The new campaign includes stories and images that feature the downtown live music scene, the Colorado Model Railroad Museum, the G.Town Promise, Poudre Learning Center, local craft brewers, community art and more. Telling these stories offers more opportunities to spread the word that Greeley is great. Doing that helps boost Greeley’s reputation, economic activity and more.
Our campaign community launch celebration on Friday, June 2 was a huge success. From 6-10 p.m. more than 3,000 people from Greeley and Northern Colorado enjoyed the free concert, kid’s activities, food, drink and the Go-Cup. It was an amazing party!
