Greeley's Creative District

Creative District Logo

This area represents the city’s highest concentration of micro-businesses, performance venues, cultural outlets, galleries, museums, entertainment, and mixed residential development. 

Historic architecture blends with contemporary additions, while wall murals surprise visitors throughout the area, which is rich with public art. 

Greeley's creative district is just one of 15 certified by the state of Colorado.

Greeley Home Ownership Incentive Program

G-Hope-identity_lrThe City of Greeley has established a pilot Home Ownership Program for Employees (G-HOPE) to promote more home ownership in Greeley’s Redevelopment District and around the University of Northern Colorado campus. 

Through the program, down payment assistance is available to regular full-time employees of the major employers in this area: 

  • Greeley City Government
  • University of Northern Colorado
  • School District Six
  • Banner Health/North Colorado Medical Center
  • North Range Behavioral Health
  • Sunrise Community Health
  • Frontier Academy
  • High Plains Library District
  • Salida del Sol Academy

G Town Tours

G.TownWebLogoWe offer free bus tours to acquaint residents and visitors with interesting aspects of the city that they might not otherwise know much about. City staff act as tour guides and resources to deepen participants’ knowledge about and appreciation for Greeley’s many assets through bus tours that range from 2 to 3 hours in length.

Neighborhood Building Blocks

Neighborhood Building BlocksNB2 is a team of City representatives assembled to provide a coordinated response to complex issues through the following interdepartmental program.

NB2's core function is to respond to complex issues requiring the attention of more than one City department or division. Neighbors report problems through the City Clerk's Office and team members are called to action, responding within 48 hours to issues like property maintenance, alleged crime, traffic and neighbor disputes.

University DistrictThis District, in the heart of the community, is about a sense of place where quiet neighborhoods and quaint local shops merge with the energy of a major university.
