City Manager's Office

Greeley operates with a council-manager form of government. Greeley City Council is responsible for legislative actions and the City Manager is responsible for overseeing the City's day-to-day operations.  The City Manager’s Office provides overall guidance to all City operating departments and is responsible for the administration of City programs to ensure the delivery of high quality services in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Acting City Manager- Raymond C. Lee III

An experienced leader in municipal government, Raymond C. Lee III was appointed by City Council to be the city’s chief administrative officer while a national search for a city manager ensues. Lee joined the city in January 2021 as deputy city manager after previously leading City of Amarillo Public Works and City of Dallas Street Services before that. He’s also served in other city departments including library services, city secretary’s office, human resources, and risk management. He holds bachelor and master’s degrees in Public Administration from Henderson State University and the University of Kansas, respectively.
