I love Greeley. In fact, I love all of the towns, cities,
and counties that make up Northern Colorado. This area is an amazing place to
live, work, and play. Tireless efforts are continuously being made to work with
other communities in the region in order to create better relationships, find
ways to share resources, and collaborate on projects that ensure Northern Colorado
continues to be an ideal place to do business and call home. Letting the world
know about all the great things happening here is one of the reasons I am
participating in the charitable Northern Colorado Regional Dancing With the
Stars event June 29.
Yes, I am putting on my dancing shoes to compete against
Perry Buck (representative of House District 49), Dave Clark (Loveland city councilmember),
and Yvonne Myers (health systems director at Columbine Health Systems). Aside
from being a lot of fun, this event raises money to support economic development
marketing efforts that highlight Northern Colorado.
Working with nearby communities, we can show off the great
things going on, not just in Greeley, but in all of Northern Colorado.
This event is just one example of Northern Colorado’s
communities coming together for a greater purpose than themselves. Whether it’s
water and agriculture, transportation and roads, or arts and entertainment, the
future of our region lies in all of our communities working together for the
greater good.
Every NoCo community has its own unique flair, but the more we
collaborate with each other, the more successes we will share as we continue to
build a region that we can be proud of for generations to come.
