Greeley is in a great place right now; new businesses are sprouting up, unemployment is low, there’s a positive vibe in the air, and best of all, we have a great group of residents and who have come together to create the ACE and G.Town Promise initiatives.

The state of our local economy is a healthy one, a huge improvement over the “great recession” years, and projected to improve even more over the next few years. It’s actually a trend. For the last few years the Council and staff have been able to capitalize on an improving revenue picture, which coincides with an economic recovery in Northern Colorado that has outpaced the national scene.

The ACE-G.Town Promise Lessons from Kalamazoo event on September 12 was an incredible success. From the nationally known and inspiring guest speakers, to Greeley’s own Spoken Word poets, to the announcement of the G.Town Promise, there was an incredible and infectious energy in Greeley that day.
