Parks improvements
Irrigation system 2017: Redesign and replacement of the existing irrigation system. Current system is beyond its useful life. Replacement parts are becoming increasingly unavailable. Newer technology will allow for replacement with a more efficient water saving system.
Shelter/Restroom Replacement 2019: Existing restroom facility will be replaced to accommodate maintenance/ storage as well as provide ADA accessible restroom facilities. A separate detached picnic shelter will also be included in this project.
Paving
The passing of the Keep Greeley Moving tax has allowed the City to plan out paving 7 years in advance. One of the higher priority locations is the Sunrise subdivision. Streets throughout the Sunrise neighborhood will be paved over the next three years. We will be coordinating with agencies such as stormwater, water, waste water, and utilities such as Excel and Atmos so that they can complete repair work before paving. Streets that do not require utility repairs will be paved first.
Residents will be inconvenienced at times during construction, but we will do our best to limit detours and minimize access restrictions. Please feel free to call the Public Works Department at 970-350-9881 for additional assistance.
