Greeley’s Water System

Greeley's water system dates to the late 1800s and has been consistently updated and expanded since that time to meet the needs of our city. We distribute nearly 9 billion gallons of water every year with more than 644 miles of pipeline, two drinking water plants, a wastewater treatment plant, three treated water reservoirs, six raw water reservoirs, and a variety of pumping stations.

Flow of Water to Greeley

Untreated water flows from water sources to our treatment plants. Once treated, water moves to holding tanks and distribution pipes across the City of Greeley.
